This a.m. I weighed 196!! I was so danged excited to see that weight!!!  I am TRULY BELOW 200 :) :)  So as of this a.m.- my total loss is 22 pounds :) THREE more lost and I will have lost 25! I can hardly believe it!  ME.... *I* have lost that much. It seems like it can't be real- I ALWAYS screw up by now! I've been so busy the past few days. I'm hosting the big family dinner on Thursday so I'm trying to get my house in shape. I spent today scrubbing down all my kitchen cabinets and oiling the oak to brighten them up a bit. Cleaned the kitchen inside & out! Did about 17 loads of laundry, shopped for a ton of groceries.... while dh & the kids sat on the couch and watched TV! Arrggg!  BUT... he has to work at 4:00 a.m. so that's a good pay back LOL So last night I had a training class to attend. It was from 5:30-7. I got home and no dinner was made... hmmm- imagine THAT! Mom was not home- so nobody EATS!?  I hadn't had tome to get to the store as I worked all day and by the time my class was out- the store was closed. So I was making my family bacon, eggs and toast at 8:00 p.m.!!   After that- I went in and tried on some clothes I had in my closet- I had a section that I'd try on "later"- when I lost more. So I tried them all on and was SHOCKED at how MANY FIT!  It was exciting to see!  I guess my dh & 13 y/o are sick of hearing how much I've lost as they hardly even acknowledge I've spoken if I bring it up. I told my friend (over the phone) that it seemed nobody in my family was interested in my progress and my 6 y/o heard and said: "I AM mom!" And she REALLY seemed to MEAN it :)  Bless her heart :)    Anyhow- that's the latest on me. It's going on 1:00 a.m. now and I'm about to go hit the sack :)

That is such a SWEET moment trying on clothes that you never thought would fit and they do. Enjoy your clothes and lap up those compliments.

Woohoo, congrats!  I agree, we will never get tired of hearing about your weight loss. This is really exciting for you!  It's a big thing happening in your life right now.  Losing weight is very hard to do.

Oh I'm envious about your closet clothes.  I have a few of those too, LOL wayyyy in the back. :)  I'm so proud of you!

On the note about your family, I totally can relate.  I just don't think they understand because they have never had that problem, or they just don't care what they weigh so they see it as no big deal.  I've been in almost tears all weekend  because no one in my family can relate to me.  They just don't get it.  Guess this is one reason why we say we have to do it for ourself!  No one else is goingto take care of us, we're moms..we take care of everyone else!

(((Pat on the back...almost 25 pounds!!)))
