FALL
I love this time of year with all the red and orange leaves. I enjoy looking at the pumpkins and bales of hay. Walking in the park is even more enjoyable. Being just the right temp is also great.
With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner it will be a struggle. I am going to try and be grateful that my weight is at least going in the right direction, even if it's not as fast I would like.
Taking time to reflect on all the good things in life that we take for granted. Spending time with family and just be grateful for good health.
We're not perfect, but at least we are putting forth effort to lose weight. We have to try and give ourselves at least a little credit. I know for me, for many years I really didn't put much effort into it.

You're right, B. Lately, I've been having problems with my frustration towards my unspeedy weightloss. But I should just be thankful that it's going in the right direction. I still haven't owned up to the fact that this is going to take me much longer than I expected. I guess I wanted RNY speed with a Lapband, and that just ain't happenin'.
I'll pull my head out of my ass one of these days...
Amen, my sistah!
This, as well as every day, is time to relect on what we do right and to be thankful for the many good things in our lives.
It is a slow journey, which does not help us see the true progress. I know for me, I tend to "crash on the next mountain", but I need to remember that every time I crash, I get out, repair my plane, and get back up in the air.
Thank you...and for me, too, fall is my fave.
