I met someone from the board

Hey everyone, Brenda (BRKO) and I met for the first time today.. We had a great lunch at the Cheesecake Factory (no, we did not eat cheesecake), and then I took Brenda to Trader Joes to show her how cool it was. Brenda is very cool and down to earth, I highly recommend her!! We had a very nice time together!!! I also made her put her picture up, so look at her profile before she takes it down, she was apprehensive about putting it up.... and look at my profile to see a picture of the two of us !! So.. Where are all the other Missouri people.... Come out come out wherever you are!!!

How fun is that. There is a good chance you guys and I will get together one of these years...St. Louis in on my list to go to the blues festival and visit a dear friend who lives down there.

My youngest sister and hubby live in Springfield, which is not real far! I tell her i want to fly into St. Louis then get up to see them!

As for meeting peeps on the 'net, yet another case of the media injecting fear!  I mean, of course, we need to be extra careful, not put out too much info, but it is one way people meet each other these days. Geez, look at that sicko BTK killer, he was a church guy, weirdos are where ever you find them, they can be anywhere. I am glad to risked it.

We had a great time just chatting away.  The waiter was about to throw us out.  She forced me to put up my picture...LOL!  I felt weird, her asking her husband to take a picture of me.  I think he thought we were dorks.  I must say, she picked a really great guy for a husband, super nice!  Oh well, Bren (mzclaus) wanted me to put up my pic too.  It's always better when you have a face to go with the posts.  Neecee, Bren, whoever - come on down!  Brenda
