Yesterday was Halloween, some of you have kids or maybe not. But yesterday was Halloween :) Which means ATTACK of the candy. I don't eat much candy. The other night i actually thru out the bag of Junior mints I bought because i couldn't be trusted anymore I knew they were there and all I wanted to do was eat them ALL. Well yesterday I was at my parents because I'm lame and just got my new Guitar Hero 3 game in the mail and I wanted to play it lol. SO they have the playstation. My youngest brother went and handed out candy with his girly girl (my parents live on a busy road no trick or treaters) and my other younger brother him and his g/f went trick or treating. Well the youngest gets home with a small bag of candy ofcourse I am eyeballing it...then the other brother and his g/f get back and she has a huge bag and offers us some...I dont even look in the bag. While my mother and other brother rummage thru it and pick crap out I am sitting on the couch dying because I want some. Do I finally give in? No. I looked at my mom and said please put it away PLEASE!? So she got rid of it but my brother kept eating his. So no candy for me on Halloween which I am glad. Any of you have some candy? Or go overboard with it?

I made some halloween chocolate chips cookies before I took my son out trick or treating for just a little while.  My husband and my son both ate 5 a piece.  I ate one, it was hard, but I managed.  After we got back from trick or treating my son was going through his bag.  I ate 3 of the bite size candy bars.  I obviously didn't totally abstain, but I did allow some extra calories through the day, so if I did indulge a little it wouldn't hurt me too bad.  I'm sure the fat content wasn't the greatest.  Not perfect, but within reason, after all it is halloween.   Christa, how did everyone like your costume?  You did great!  I see your ticker is moving too.  You go girl! Christa, he really wasn't going to go out for halloween.  He thinks he's getting a little too old, he's 12.  At the last minute he decides he wants to go, basically he wanted a lot of candy.  My husband had a pimp costume that he wore a few years ago in the basement.  He decided he was going to wear it.  It was pretty neat, a purple hat with a black feather.  A really flashy/sparkly purple shirt with a necklace that is a $ sign with really sparkly stuff on it and a ring to go with it.  He wore black sunglasses, etc.   We went to this older ladies house and she asked him what he was.  He said I'm pimp daddy.  She didnt like it.  She said that is a bad thing and next year he better rethink his costume and slapped him on the butt.  She gave him two nickels.  Geez, it's just a costume.  Brenda

Oh Christa! You are GOOD!  I caved- a little. I took my 6 y/o out trick-or-treating and my oldest dd & her 3 kiddo's came along. (my 13 y/o ds hung with his pals at the haunted house)  Then our neice came over with her 6 y/o... there was candy EVERYWHERE!   I ate a tiny box of Milk Duds and a couple tootsie rolls (tiny ones) AND... one tiny bag of candy corn. I have not used any of my extra 35 points so it was okay to do this- still can't get the feeling out of my head that I REALLY messed up though.  BUT.... I didn't eat dinner yesterday either AND I walked a lot :) BTW... I LOVED your costume! VERY cute! Loved the make-up job to!

I did well. 2 "mini" Tootsie Rolls and that's it. But then again, it  was just a few days ago  that I went and sort of consumed enough calories for 25 Halloweens...so I don't know if it counts!

my kids brought home a small bag of candy each from church. i allowed myself 1 piece given to me from each of them and that was it. they both tried to give me more hehe considering today is my bday, i figured it would be ok to splurge on just 2.
