New, and would like to get some advice.
Thanks. I too eat commercial meals once in a while on my plan. I'm finding that when I make things for the family that are high in calories, it's just easier I don't even attempt to try to eat a "portion" size. I'm slowly freezing lefter overs in portions for myself "after" the dinner is over. This way I can't go back for seconds and is already for me when I'm on the go or being rushed for time. This is not the first time I've lost weight, I've yoyoed all my life. I've lost 100 pounds at one time and wow the feeling at that time. Like someone just told me on here, it's like a tease getting to that weight and able to do things, just to gain the weight back in six months.
Like you said...find what is right for me....but why does it take so long to find it! Dh said I've been searching for four years.hehe
Hi there! Like Neecee said, I too sugest you start the ins. approval process, so if you go that way, you don't have to wait for the paperwork. I mostly lurk here, and mainly am on the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy forum. I was set for the surg. last may, then my DH had a heart attack so I took time off from surg. focus to see what I could do non-surgically. Anyhoo, at my age (52), and lots of genetic obesity, yada yada, I'm now leaning back towards the VSG. Come on over and post your questions there while you are on your journey. I wish you only good things as you progress!
