Okay, whatcha gonna do to keep it all real this weekend?  How could you have done it better this past week? Me =  Exercise:  I had minor girlie stuff surgery (office procedure), so i am not supposed to walk for 3 days. I feel fine, but at least today and tomorrow I will lay low. No promises for Sunday.  i don't see what a short walk will hurt if I do not get any more sore than this. Maybe the local anesthetic (sic) has not completley worn off, but this ain't squat so far.  This past week I was great with exercise.  1 hour walks every day excpet surgery day.  1x ball crunches. Food:  I need to eat vegetables. Been kind of lax on that this week during the workday. Two days I did well, but my schedule got crazy and I was flying around utilizing protein bars and drinks rather than any produce. My suppers were very good, always include plenty of veggies and I did not over do it in portiosn this week.  We are making a glazed pear salad tonight - fresh pear slices pan glazed with a shallot and balsamic vinegar then put over romaine and radicchio with a bit of goat cheese and toasted walnuts. Served with a roasted turkey breast and winter squash soup!!!! I may whomp up a minestrone for Saturday night. It's stormy up here this week, prolly all weekend too. YOU????

Me:   I just got another fill in my band, so I'm in liquids for the rest of today.  Tomorrow and Sunday, I'm going to watch what I eat because if I eat too much, or the wrong thing, it's coming back up, and I don't want that.  I bought the big carton of egg beaters, so I'm thinking lots of fake-eggs this weekend.  I've been on such an egg kick lately.  It's like all I want to eat. Exercise?  Yeah right...  If I would, my life would be so much easier, but I just don't do it.  I might clean out the spare room in my house that the treadmill sits in and play on the treadmill for a bit this weekend.  That's a possibility.  Other than that, I'll be sitting on my fat ass and eating eggs.  Woo hoo for me. :)

Me: I have a one-month goal of jogging a 12-minute mile (which I don't think I've ever done in my life before) so tomorrow I will get to the gym in the morning with some good music and practice my jogging/walking. Sunday, I am not sure yet. I will either vegetate or do a shortened version of my walk/jog practice, maybe 30 minutes. Food: I never go to the farmers market because I find it too intimidating, and I don't know how to pick out REAL vegetables or wash them. Like I always think local potatoes are "too dirty" ... um, they DO grow underground! What should I expect? SO: today I am going to the best market here and I will stock up and have fun! And if I don't know how to wa**** I will Google or call my dad! Oh, and I want to cut back on the diet soda. I still get plenty of water, but TOO much diet soda. It's stupid.

Not too much going on for me this weekend.  We are going to visit my mother on Saturday and as usual lots of chores on Sunday.  I hope to keep my butt out of the casino this weekend, but they sent me some match play coupons which is tempting.  My hubby likes to gamble too.  As long as it's in moderation and not all the time.  We do love us some blackjack!  Sunday he'll be watching football for sure so we definitely won't be going then.   Have a great weekend everyone!
