Plateus
I have lost 60 lbs (I'm 5'7" 47 years old ) January 07 - late August 07 - 330 - 270. Since late August I haven't lost anything. I haven't gained anything either and am doing the same thing I was during weight loss. I stick to about 1600-1800 calories a day and am actually more active now than during the summer since I went back to school. Is this a plateau? What do I do now? I feel as if I will never lose another ounce!

Isn't it depressing????
I am a lil older than you and I will only maintain at that caloric level (in fact, i think i gain at 1800-1900). To lose, it has to be more like 1200-1400. AND that is a slow rate of loss, btw. I'm lucky to drop 1/2 pound a week at that level. My weight today is ~182 ish. I lost 40# last year, slow boat to China.
I am moderately active. i fast walk an hour 5x a week, do calisthentics 1-2x weekly, then throw in a big long walking or biking session (2+ hours) 1x weekly.
You can try to wait it out a bit longer and see if your plateau breaks, but I am thinking that your calories need to come down a bit. Sometimes just keep on keepin on does help! My body stalls for long periods, too.
The closer to goal, the harder the tow.
Best of luck and GOOD JOB! It is an accomplishment what you have done.
