Since climbing back on the wagon...
I have dropped TWO pounds :) Must be water cause I'm really *making* myself suck that down now. I had to wash all that garbage out of me!
Let me tell you.. it is HARDER once you fall- to climb back up on this wagon! It's like it wants to ROLL out from under me and ON TOP of me! It's HARDER this time! I just have that urge to EAT!
So I'm trying really REALLY hard to eat grapes, popcorn (light) and stuff like that. Today I ate non fat cottage cheese for lunch (with pineapple) and it was like HARD not to eat the entire TWO cups of cottage cheese!! It's just like my HEAD wants to EAT.
Akkk... I think I'll crawl into bed and read my book so I'm not tempted!! Tomorrow I'll look for velcro (super glue?) to stick on the bottom of my feet- and onto the wagon! Maybe THAT will prevent my falling!
Actually, the "super glue" I NEED is to see the weight coming off again... that'll stick me to this thing!
Time to go to school conferences and read my book!

Beat the 'out of control' urge with a HUGE glass of water with lots and lots of icecubes. After you crunch the ice cubes- you end up so full of water you can't eat even if you wanted to.
Get back on the wagon. I am back on the wagon... and it's very hard when you slip off to get back on. But you can do it! Just grab my hand.. I'll pull you back on OK?

You sound like me. This morning I got a craving for breakfast at McD's. I thought, where is this coming from. I had stopped feeling those cravings in the morning and my new way of eating was becoming a habit. I thought, oh no this is what I used to do. I'm not starting that crap again. It will just put me in the same place as before, NO WEIGHT LOSS! I dont' want to return to that.
I did not give in and went to work. I am tired of that same old routine and it just makes me crave more really. I want to have a signicant amount of weight off for next summer. I plan on going somewhere that I will be wearing a bathing suit. I may not look like a knock out, but I'll be better than I am now.
The encouragement and support from this board helps me stay motivated. Have a great weekend everyone!

For me protein is the answer to cravings.
If I eat some turkey or cottage cheese when I crave bad foods it seems to make it go away...
If I eat some sugar free substitute for what I want... I just want more.
might be worth a try.
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
