I got my sample of these in the mail today and I told myself to save them but I couldn't resist.  They are mighty tasty and contain a 1/2 serving of veggies (or fruits).  They're more like a chip than a cracker which is what I was expecting and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised!  Just had to share.  BTW, they've got a $1 off coupon on the web site (you have to go through nabiscoworld.com).

Hey Beth, I haven't found the courage to eat these yet.  Since I am a calorie counter as well as low carbs, both of these items make eating those chips not a very good idea.  They have just about the same amount of calories as regular chips, to me just not worth it. However, you have me curious now to see what they taste like.  But since the guilt will kill me I have to live with that curiousity.

That's our girl D.D.  Do you know what that stands for?  Dedicated Donna, and I don't mean that in a smart ass way, more of an envious one.  You haven't been posting as much lately, which I miss. Brenda

I tried the banana ones and liked them.... but in the end decided that I could have a real banana for the same calories and get a full serving of fruit and less residual cravings.

So I gave the rest of my pre-measured bags to my business partner's 3 year daughter.  Each time she came in I gave her a bag and she added some M*M's to it.... LOL

Well, the sample was a perfect size bag (1oz) and I would buy them if they were available this way when they were on sale, but I haven't decided whether I will buy a full bag.  I like the fact that they are tasty and savory (I had the Tomato Basil) and would satisfy my chip craving when I have one.  I'm not a big veggie fan so I really have to work at getting in all my veggies but I would be more likely to eat them instead of greasy potato chips which I tend to crave right around TOM.  I like me some fruit so I don't have much of a problem eating fruit.  I try to eat balanced and include a variety of foods in my menu so I may consider adding these (if they are on sale and I have a coupon)

Chips you may not be able to find 1 oz bags but you can always create your own.  If the bag contains 10 servings just split it between 10 snack size bags.  Then you can grab and go without eating the whole bag!

It never hurts to have a little treat now and then to keep the LARGER cravings at bay.  I haven't tried those yet.  When I get a chip craving I get the Lay's brand light potato chips 75 calories/oz. and tastes just like the real thing.

I also like the Quaker mini rice cakes in the different flavors.  They come in single serving bags and are great when you are craving something crunchy.  I think they are either 90 or 100 calories per serving.  Not bad when you are counting the calories. Have a good day.  Think light thoughts.
