Water Challenge
Yikes... I've not seen this recommendation for fluid intake..ever! For generally healthy adults we as Registered Dietitians usually calculate fluid needs using an equation based on a certain number of cc's per kilogram of body weight (this was posted on the Diet & Nutrition Forum last week). Weight loss depends on MANY factors such as how many calories you eat, how much exercise you do, not specifically how much fluid is consumed. Good luck!

The water thing is very controversial as you see by the other posts. I am a child of the 70's and we were told tha****er 'flushes" out cells and fat, alas, I WI**** were so. My doc told me that too much water can leach out potassium, so do be careful.
Remember water is in lots of our foods - most notably veggies and think of how vitamin-drenched tha****er is.
I try for about 32-50 ounces daily, and on top of that, my coffee and diet drinks help fill it in.
