I am wondering, does anyone here do the online SB diet? If so is it worth the fees? I do have the book which is loaded with recipes and diet plans, but I am curious as a diet community, what are your thoughts?

You are AMAZING!!! Your profile... when you said you lost a lot of weight, I had to see... WOW! You look incredible! My lowest with the band was 195, and after I lost the band I leaped up to 247 eating all the things i had missed for 17 months, I love food, I love to cook, smell, it's wonderful... but it doesn't have to have power over us, You are living proof. I am on my way down, 239 this morning, and my days eating... I was satisfied enough that I didn't want my "snacks". The online program charges your account for 5 bucks a week.... I'm thinking someone just wants to get rich, but I was curious if anyone uses it.... hmmm I think I'll pass for now. CONGRATULATIONS again, you are REMARKABLE!!!!
Hi DebI would buy the book at a used book store or the library and run off meaningful pages. use fitday or many others to help you get to the % that are close to SB vision!
I think SB way of eating is pretty practical and what most of us older ladies need. We cannot eat too many grains thses days, and when we do, they MUST be high quality more times than not. White breads are my personal trigger food. Actually, it's hard for me to eat a little bread of any kind! LOL.

Thanks Honey, I do have the book, with all the recipes and info, so I was thinking having it online as well was maybe not that necessary. I will see how I do, I'm okay so far but with only 1 1/2 days under my belt, I was surprised that the scale said I lost a pound already. I couldn't eat the breads and rice and pasta with the band and probably lost because of that... then I ate monkey bread... that's it, I'm done for a while! I do belong to sparkpeople so maybe I'll use that and just ignore the menu suggestions.
