Okay, i have had a few not.so.good days this week with my food.  No losses for this lil black duck this week.   Last night I absolutely SNAPPED after supper - like 6 oatmeal cookies, a skinny cow bar -kind of funny when you mix a diet thingie in with lots of ****ty stuff - the irony was not lost on me - AND the rest of a Dark hershey's bar bought on my trip this week.  I did this consciously, even at the time, tried to at least understand that i was eating it consciously.  wow. This weekend...yard work on Saturday, also need to put up a bunch of italian sauce using up a buttload of tomatoes. Saturday night with the girls (not much drinking as I have to bring DH home late after Boy's night Out Monster trucks)...movies. May go to see Superbad. Sunday, big bike ride.  Overall....veggies veggies veggies.  hows about YOU???

We have Community Day tomorrow-- so I hope to get some walking in, although it's supposed to be in the mid 80s and I sooooo hate the heat. If we're up early enough Sunday we might get in a walk on the local nature trail before we swim. I wi**** would feel like Fall already! We wanna bike and walk outside, but the heat kills me post-op--- not that I ever dealt with it well, but the dehysration makes me woozy fast. Last week we did a 5k on Saturday and a couple miles on Sunday plus the swim. My ass was beat all week!

I've been struggling with my eating also this week.  I will be good one day, but the next will fall on my face by dinner.  Ahh well, I turned it around yesterday and so far today (knock on wood) I'm doing ok.   As for the weekend, I need to go grocery shopping so I have veggies and fresh fruit in the house.  My sis and possibly brother with his family are coming over on Saturday for a cookout.  That should be a fun time...my sibs are AWESOME!!!!  On Sunday my DB's stepdad is coming over and the two of them will be painting the outside of our house.  As for me, I'm going to finally take time for me and work in my craft room.  I haven't had time to work in there for a month.   As for moving to lose, I'm planning on using my workout DVD today (been slacking and haven't used it in a very long time) and tomorrow (plus major shopping tomorrow).  I don't have any exercise plans for Sunday, but will try to move in some way.

Saturday Morning is the gym for 45 minutes... then is off to the party supply to shop for the rest o my daughter's birthday party.... Sunday - Church and rest.... I plan on watching every single movie on Lifetime Sunday while dozing in and out..... In terms of eating... we normally eat out on the weekends... but I found a recipe for healthy chicken enchiladas.... so I will attempt to make that on Saturday....

I notice that if I eat more during the DAY, that I'm not as likely to graze or crave munchies at night. Veggies and fruit are good, but don't fill me up as much as protein, etc.  I usually save them for the night meal. And when I want something sweet at night, I eat a 45 calorie Sweet Freedom fudge bar or make a protein shake with frozen strawberries or a banana.  Really fills me up!

I have put together some great diet/crap food combinations in my life. Of course, there is the classic 20-piece chicken nuggets with a diet coke! Tomorrow I will do a 2 mile walk in the morning and a 2 mile walk at night. Both indoors on the treadmill, because the weather is GROSS! Isn't summer supposed to be over? Sunday I will take it easy and veg out :) My food pledge for the weekend is to stock up on all the raw veggies I can and eat them A LOT. I'll steam just about anything but I discovered I genuinely enjoy dipping raw stuff like cucumbers (YUM), broccoli, and red bell peppers in XXX-tra hot sauce :)

Here's an update, in the spirit of staying accountable: Did my 2 walking miles this morning but wimped out on the evening half. So, instead of taking it completely easy tomorrow, I will do the 2 additional miles in the morning. Veggies consumed today: Cucumber, red bell pepper, broccoflower, purple cauliflower, zucchini. I'm happy with that. Yay!

Me, too!  so far, so good.  Some yardwork yesterday, although not even moderate level. Food was good...ate one too many pieces of bread/butter dipped into my home-cooked tomato sauce in the morning, but I got a hold of myself and did great the rest of the day. breakfast Sat morning was 1 c whole grain cereal, 1 c blueberries, 1 c non fat milk.  And as stated, two large piece of bread/butter with 1/2 c tomato sauce all over it and about 1/2 ounce hard parmesan. Party Saturday afternoon - i had water and 3 pieces sushi, handful of various raw veg

Last night I was designated driver, so no booze, only water, little dancing. I ate raw veggies before supper:  carrots, snow peas, tomatoes, broccoli.  Thai peanut salad, 2TBS potato salad, grilled chicken and tri tip - very little meat (lots of people there so i held back).  4 TBS cheesecake. Sunday morning:  gear up for a very long bike ride. need to do my ab stuff.  have not done this..except for ONE day. I will try to get back on track with this.
