Before you had RNY I know you had like certain percentages on the whole dieting thing like on fit day. What were the percentages that oyu made sure of. Like how much protein, fat, and carbs. I was logging things into fitday from what I ate yesterday and my carbs are like SKY HIGH! So what did you follow? Because I know it worked wonders for you along with exercise ofcourse. Which I have not been to the gym in a week. I am going tonight tho :) Yay. And for all of you....I believe today I am having fast food...kind of...I am getting a salad I haven't decided where yet I am looking it all up for calories and such on dietfacts. Then I will decide.

Instead of posting another new topic I figured out what I am going to eat for lunch, I did all the calculations and what not for calories and fat. I am going with Burger King a Tendergrill chicken sandwich...no bun extra tomato...light honey mustard dressing....with a side salad with a low cal or low fat dressing of some sort, not the whole packet tho like 1/4 of it. Which is really good in calories and what not so. :) I know it's fast food but a good choice...I think I am almost hit that TOM it's gotta be today or tomorrow my cravings are slowly SLOWLY subsiding. Which last night I was watching TV and had this craving for like pie or cake. Something sweet. I had a huge battle with myself. I thought well I could go to my parents have a piece of birthday cake, go to the grocery store get something, go to a fast food place get something....finally after 15 minutes of talking myself out of everything I decided to eat a small bowl of raisin bran since it is sweet but alot better than eating the other things I was deciding on....then I was content.

Christa, Me and you aren't talking anymore. After you sharing that link, we have nothing to say to one another. Do you realize that a chicken ceasar salad at Boston Market has 800 calories, 62 gms of fat and 1770 gms of sodium? Dear god up above, what's that all about? Yes it has 49 gms of protein and only 9 of carbs, but help me Lord, i thought that was healthy eating!!!!! A 1/3 Angus bacon burger from McDonalds has the same amount of calories as this salad, and less fat grams. I'm sinking into a heavy depression right now!! LOL
ummmm here is the info on it from thedailyplate...
Romaine lettuce, rotisserie chicken, croutons, cheeses, & caesar dressing with a lemon wedge

that's what I was saying, and here all along I thought it was the best choice there. I chose the marinated chicken ceasar salad, pretty much the same stats. Frankly the chicken pot pie is better nutrtion wise. It just has too many carb grams for my style of eating.
Thank god I don't eat there much at all, perhaps 4 times in the past 2 years. That just goes to show that fast food is just not really not a good choice for someone trying to live a healthy lifestyle. There is too much garbage in it. The sodium count alone is enough to keep me far far away!
Sodium is the hard one... harder than fat or carbs or anything else. I try to stay below 2000 mg per day - but it is TOUGH to do.
