WORKOUT CHALLENGE!

How's it work? Add up how many minutes of exercise you plan to commit to for the week. How little or how much is up to you! Then, on Saturday we'll will total 'em up and see how ya did. You will have to record the times daily somehow (you can do this in FitDay.) This week, my fitness goal is 30 minutes per day X 7 days-- 3hrs. 30 minutes (Doc says to keep it easy for a while) So far, Wednesday, I have 2 hrs. and 5 minutes. (Two days of water aerobics, and light weights to a fitness tape I have. Too hot to walk!) What'll you do this week, and where are you today?

Okay.... Mon -  30 Min -  Elliptical random elevation and resistance - 425 calories burnt Tues- 30 Min - Elliptical random elevation and resistance - 420 calories burnt Weds- 30 Min - Treadmill @ 3.5 mph random elevation - 418 calories burnt Thurs- 30 Min - Gazelle - 508 calories burnt and 15 min on treadmill 108 calories burnt Fri -     30 Min- Treadmill @ 3.5 mph Random resistence and elevation (going at lunch) Sat -   (Estimate)  30 min on gazelle and 25 on treadmill

Mon. - 35 min. walking/recumbent bike Tues - 40 min. walking/recumbent bike Wed. - 40 min. walking/recumbent bike Thurs  - 40 min walking/recumbent bike Fri.  -      15 minutes at lunch walking  I'm at 170 min, but will finish the other 10 tonite to make my 3 hr commitment. I don't know what I will do next week as I am on vacation and I won't be posting again until Oct.  8.   Brenda

Oh jeez I haven't done anything this week.  So I will set a goal for today and tomorrow of 30 minutes a day (1 hour total) using my Leslie Sansone walking DVD and possibly free weights.  As for Saturday, I'll be at my sister's house working on putting up siding, playing in cement, and overall walking around all day.

Well since I haven't been on track with exercising all week long I will start my challenge for today until Saturday. So lets see. Ireally want to start walking in the mornings before I go to work. I need to get my lazy sleepy ass out of bed! So Today...1 hour of gym time maybe more but I am shooting for 1 hour. 30 minutes of walking tomorrow morning. Tomorrow I might gym not sure...because after dinner with my mom we're going halloween shopping whi*****ludes walking...which is exercise so...an hour of that. Saturday morning 30 minute walk. Then doing everyones hair is an exercise all in its own let me tell you! lol.  So by Saturday night.....3 hours of exercise is the goal! :) I'll let ya know! There might be more but 3 is my goal for this week! Next week will be different
