Bad weekend!
Man... DH fasted for Yom Kippur and when he was done he was dying for food, so he ordered a pizza...
I ate two pieces, probably 5 or 600 calories worth of pizza. :o I had skipped a meal that day, so I was probably only over my daily limit by 2 or 300 calories, but.....
Then yesterday we were out doing halloween shopping and DH took FOREVER!!! and the traffic was awful because everybody was going to the fair, so when we got home it had been 6 hours since I'd last eaten!!! so I was starved and just grabbed more pizza... :( I tried to make up for it by skipping a meal, but I was tired and hit Starbucks on the way to pick up my kids and got a pumpkin spice latte which is 380 calories :( My downfall is always espresso drinks! I didn't eat anything else at all that day except one cup of 2% milk for my evening meal...
I don't think I went over my calorie count by much (I don't think I could have gotten more than 1500 calories on either day) but I was SO bad!! :( No more pizza for me!!
Today I'm down half a pound from yesterday, which is amazing, considering my cheatin' ways :(
Today is a new day though right??
Hey! I fasted for Yom Kippur too. I'm not religious though...I did it more for tradition, and to have an excuse to fast and look forward to a nice family dinner :) We had pot roast and all sorts of veggies. YUM!
Today IS a new day. First, your splurges don't sound that bad at all. Second, I PROMISE that if you pick up where you left off, pre-pizza, this will not hinder your progress at all. Moving on is all that matters. For real.
