My week, in one-two phrases about food: Too light all day long, a little too heavy at supper.  Great job with fruits/veggie intake. Exercise:  excellent walking, one hour daily plus although i lied already about my ball crunches and push ups.  Did not do them Thursday as stated.  This weekend?  a party tonight, not worried too much about pigging out or drinking. Did great last night..only 4 gin & diet tonics, two slices tri tip, 1 c pasta, balsmaic tomatoes. Sunday:  big bike ride, GS birthday part.  Cake, no problem.  will not eat any.  will eat lunch before i go.

With the exception of Thursday my food has been pretty good all week - but it could have been better.  To lose 2-3 lbs a week I really need to be around 1500 cals per day but I had 2 days above 2000 and 3 above 1700.  Some of this is TOM and I know it but I really need to keep it in check. Veggie intake sucks as usual.  Fruit is even worse.   Exercise?  well I am taking up a new program next week.  Until Monday I shal remain slug-like.  LOL The weekend for me will be the same as always.  I really just want to get my calories back down to 1500 a day so I can start losing again.
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
336.1 (8-1-07)/319.0 (12-28-07)/200 (goal for 12-31-08)/160 (goal)
Next mini goal is 290 by 1-31-08

Good job you two!

As you might know, I have no real goales yet because of the pregnancy. I just go to the ww meetings with my mum to get the right mindset before I give birht, and then REAL:LY start.

I started last week by cutting my diet soda and substituting for water (according to the WW lady, she said drinking lost of diet coke slows down the weight loss) That worked well last week!

This week I decided to try and determine wether I was really hungry or just head-hungry (also according to the ww meeting). I did that for one day and then forgot about it. So I'll try and do that better coming week!

My goals are still smaal and behavioral rather then food-execise related, but I hope they will help me get in the right mood.

Hey, Carina..your small goals are the ticket!!!!  It is actually kind of a blessing that you are preggers, this will help you not be crazy diet-patterned. I think just eating regular, small, balanced meals that include plenty of whole grains, lean quality protein, and as many fresh fruits & vegetables are absolutely the way to go. If I had done that at your age when my metabolism might have still been normal, I would not be in this boat now of doing all the right things for very little return. remember that!!!!!
