Abstinence - Day 218

Breakfast 1 orange 1 cup Rolling Oats 1 cup 1% milk 2 cups coffee 2 cups water Lunch 2 medium whole wheat pita breads with spinach, 3 tomato slices, 6 slices chicken lunch meat, 1 slice American cheese, 1 tsp. mayo 9 prunes 2 cups water Dinner I don't know where we'll pick up our dinner yet, but it could be Arby's, Wendy's, Burger King, Popeye's, etc.  I'll make a conscious effort to pick out something healthy from the menu, like a grilled chicken sandwich and a baked potato from Wendy's, etc.  I won't get the junk, so don't be concerned!  The reason we'll be eating fast food is that I have to sing alto in the Beth El Synagogue choir tonight for Erev Yom Kippur, and I have to be down in Akron at 6:15.  It's a 40 to 45-minute drive, and it'll be in rush hour traffic, so wish me luck!  I'll probably be late, since my husband and I have banking to do once he gets out of work at 4:30.  This is a job, which I get paid $600.00 for (for the entire High Holy Days, Rosh Hashanah through Yom Kippur). I'm not worried about your choices but I do have some suggestions on what you could get because i like them :) Because I find them yummy :)

Arbys - Their Martha's Vineyard salad is YUMMY!!!! Or i love the marketfresh sandwich's my fave is the Turkey and swiss. They're big too! lol

Burger King - Their grilled chicken sandwich is better than Wendy's atleast in my opinion. And they have HUGE salads I never eat them all but they're really good.

Wendy's - Their Cheesy broccoli baked potatoe!!! lol. I really like their chili too. And they have side salads and oh oh they have like deli sandwiches as well.

Popeyes - Never had it. No input on that one lol.

Taco Bell - a couple chicken taco's

Mickey D's - Um....Salad the southwestern one is really good. Oh if you haven't had the wraps, my fave one is the chipotle BBQ grilled chicken one.  As you can see I totally know the healthy choices but I never seem to make them sometimes :-/ lol good luck all of it sounds yummy! :) And have fun at the choir thingy.

You can go online to McD's and they have the nutritional facts on their food.  The other places probably  do too.  That way you will know for sure.  You definitely have to watch some of the dressings for those salads.  Brenda

Oh i know!!!! Those dressings are killer! Like I always ask for reduced fat or low calorie...unless I am getting like a raspberry vinigrette. Usually if they dont have those options i only use half the packet of dressing because they have so much fat and calories in it!

Hey Christa...

I loooooovvvvee Arby's marketfresh sandwiches too... but a turkey and swiss has 17 WW points in it! I know it seems like it would be healthy with the fresh veggies and such... but not really!! If I'm right there's more calories than in a whopper or big mac.. eeeek. Definitely don't have one with an Alli.... ha ha ha.
