Abreva
Do any of you suffer from cold sores (I do)
Anyway - I got these coupons for a rebate up to $19.99 on the purchase of Abreva. If you use the product and want the coupons let me know and I will mail you one (I have 7) There is a limit of one per household and I dont know of anyone else who has cold sore issues.
All you have to do is mail in the coupon with a reciept for the new Abreva pump and they will send you a check for up to 19.99
Being on their mailing list isnt so bad either - They sent me the product and the coupons! LOL

I used to get cold sores ALL the time. Whether it was from having my period, laying in the sun, stress, breathing...I'd get them. I hated them, sometimes my lips were covered. It was the last straw when I had one on my nose!!! It was gross!! Someone told me about the herbal supplement L-lysine. It is an amino acid. Since starting to take it, almost 8 years ago now, I have been almost cold sore free. When I do get them I get them a whole heck of a lot worse than before. I take Lysine, loyally.
I used to use Zovirax but it didn't work nearly as well as Lysine.
stress will get me every time... LOL
I may have to try L-lysine. The abreva works very well to get them over and done quickly - and it helps with the pain (sometimes, if I catch them early enough they dont even get open) but I would much rather PREVENT them!

The sun does it to me. That's the only time I get them anymore. I hate cold sores..They're horrible! Very painful! I used to take Valtrex when I felt them coming on and that helped to get rid of them more quickly.. but i haven't used that in years. I've learned to use SPF chapstick on my lips when going out in the soon. That always works. :)
