NEW EXERCISE CHALLENGE!
I agree, both aerobics and weight training are important. Unfortunately most people just focus on the aerobic side of the equation. But strength training is so important, especially for women. We don't have much muscle mass to begin with, but once we reach about 35 we start losing more and more muscle mass as each year passes. The only way to combat against that is with strength training.
I am thinking along the lines of a 10 minute daily walk.... at the end of a week that is 70 more minutes of exercise than I got the week before....
I am so bad about exercise I wore a pedometor the other day... and only did 2500 steps.... Is it possible to get through an entire day on 2500 steps??? please tell me the ped was broken. that is just SAD
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
336.1 (8-1-07)/319.0 (12-28-07)/200 (goal for 12-31-08)/160 (goal)
Next mini goal is 290 by 1-31-08

I've never done one of these before so I think I'll leap right in with you all!
I will walk at LEAST one mile per day- at least THREE days next week. I'll shoot for FOUR days but will for SURE walk it for 3 :)
I'll be pushing a double stroller with two little ones (and a rain cover!) so if I feel like falling- I have something to hang onto!! LOL I'll take my 13 y/o with as well- he can use the exercise to!
A mile might not sound like much but I haven't really walked much in ages! From the car- into the post office... from the car- into the store. That's about it. I walked 5 miles with my friend a year ago and it felt really GOOD- but I felt like I was really hindering her as she's much smaller and walks 5 miles almost daily. She likely didn't get much of a walk in that day!
