MOVING EASIER

I decided to run into the grocery store this morning before work.  I only needed a couple items.  Well as usual I ended up getting ten times as much stuff as I went in for.  Some of the items in the cart were heavy so it was getting harder to push obviously.  I didn't allow enough time for all this and I thought I was going to be late for work.  I was moving pretty fast and pushing this heavy cart all around and I realized a few months ago this would have been more of a struggle than it was today.  Between the exercising and weight loss I could tell an improvement in getting around.  It made me feel good and I felt good going into work and I wasn't late.  It's amazing the little things we begin to notice. Have a great weekend everyone! Brenda

I totally know what you mean. I have to go up and down these stairs every day at work....I work upstairs and everything I need like fax machine..water, bathroom, and such is downstairs. When I was 276 pounds it was hard and i remember back in May I was 256 I had lost the 20 pounds I went with my father mushroom huntin up north we walked ALL day for like 8 hours...if I hadn't lost those 20 pounds I would have DIED! ha. Because towards the end i was getting tired! But I even looked at my dad and said if i wasn't 20 pounds lighter I wouldnt haven been able to do this! So it is nice to notice that you can do things easier than before. Keep it up! :)

This is a great non scale victory!  I also feel like I am moving better and have more stamina to get things done.  I've only lost 8.4 pounds though.  I guess it's all the exercise.  It's definitely motivation to keep going, don't you think?

I've noticed that it's easier to get up from couches and chairs; easier to climb stairs, easier to wipe myself after going to the bathroom, etc.  Losing 19 pounds helps alot.  It's not such a hardship to stand for a long time, either. Denise Phares/Kitties4
