Cosign on the KFC!  I cannot tell you how I used to grub at KFC ... and now my tummy won't let me, LOL!

I'm curious, this seems to be a calorie-rich diet; large bagel with peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, Sierra mist soda, cornmeal mush, apple juice, mashed potatoes, etc. Is it supposed to be low-fat diet? I'm not seeing a low-carb angle, or low fat, or low salt/sugar element to your diet. What is the concept of your diet, and after 210 days how is it working for you? I haven't enjoyed menus like that in years and can't lose weight.

Kit doesnt always reply so I am going to jump in (I hope she doesn't mind!) It is my understanding that she is working toward a 'sensible' food plan that involves real food in normal propotions.  As part of her OA goals she is now skipping the sweets after church for instance.  Her plan is much more flexible than many of us, but it sure seems to be working for her! Abstinence means different things for different people, and can even change for the same person over time.  For Kit this is abstience for her today.  I for one am proud of her in her efforts to make peace with food :)

I am on a 1600-calorie diabetic diet.  Since I went on a major shopping trip that day, we opted for fast food.  On the weekends, I have more calories in my food plan than during the week.  Most days, I eat around 1600 to 1800 calories a day. I have lost 19 pounds so far on this diet. Denise Phares/Kitties4
