2-teens! 2-teens!
Well I'm going to celebrate here because who else would understand? Someone at my gym? Um, no!
Even though I think scales are 99% evil...mmm...maybe 78%...there are some points that really feel significant to me. I definitely feel this is one of them. I weighed in this morning at 219. I was REALLY looking forward to this. NOW I WILL NOT TOUCH THE SCALE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK! PREFERABLY TWO!
My next goal is to be under 210, because I predict I will really start feeling different then, physically. I think I will be able to buy some size 18's at that point, which should be nice. After that, my mini-goals are: under 200 (onederland), 185, and 175. I shall not speak of numbers beyond that, because then we are talking too long term and I will just go nuts thinking about it.
Anyway I am just professing that here because I really feel it helps me stick to it. I am hanging around the house right now until I go to the gym to do cardio while watching ROCK OF LOVE w/ Bret Michaels. LOL. Not entirely looking forward to that, but I will force myself.
I hope everyone is having a great Sunday. I've never been a Sunday person myself. XOXO.
Whoooooooo hoooooooooooooo Sonora!!
I saw the two-teens about a year ago. They have remained entirely elusive to me. However, I was also in the three-teens, so I'm good where I am. LOL
Don't touch the scale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This will be your motivation to keep it in the teens. You go girl!!!
You can do it Sharri! I really think that is best. You know, I am a big anti-scale crusader (well, more like anti-over-weighing) and I fell off the wagon about 2 months ago or something like that because it was just too tempting. Now I'm just a lazy hypocrite My plan was to take the scale to my dad's house but me & pa are not on the best of terms at the moment so I'd rather not. Instead I've stored the scale up on a really high shelf and I think that will do the trick.
I rationalized my brush with scale mania by crediting the few times it actually gave me a boost. Yeah, well, everything's a good idea until it's not anymore, duh. (Driving yr car 30 miles over the speed limit works great too, until you wreck it.) It's not worth risking blowing the numbers out of proportion and stress-eating over something I would have otherwise been able to move past. I would like to revert to weighing 2 times -- or at most, 3 -- a month.
