Not been a good week...

me 2...this is one miracle that happened in my life.  The day i knew my $#^%ed up marriage was finally over...ummm18 years also, none of them good, I was on my knees asking for a sign on what to do.   Like most young women, I had no money, rattletrap car, etc. Talk about helpless and scared....but i got on my knees and asked for help. The NEXT DAY, I **** you not, a lady I had not heard in a few years called me.  She says, hey my friend Marvin down the street has a house for rent, very cheap, know anyone who wants it?  my mouth said yes before i stopped to think about first month rent, let alone deposit.  One miracle leads to another...i went down to talk with marvin, and he was happy to let me pay my deposit by trading work to mow lawns at his rentals. he co-signed for me to get gas & power.  I got completely screwed in my divorce deal...you can wipe your butt on most judge orders...got zero help from my ex.  I worked 12 hour days, weekends to make it. i paid off all of our divorce bills, bought myslef a brand new car in three years. If still living with that psycho, our money was always gone...of course, all for him...booze, drugs, women,,,i never would have made anything of myself.   Men like what you got and what i got go from sucker to sucker...you can leave him with his pants down around his ankles in the road.  He's the loser...not you..you stay for a lot of good reasons, you will leave for the right ones too.

well stay for a bit and plan your escape.... makes perfect sense.... but ewwwww dont sleep with him!!!  you might find he brought you a present! I have to also echo the sentiments of the others...  I left with nothing.  Moved in with my parents and shared a room with my son.  I took nothing but our clothes and his toys and bunk bed.  He got top and I got the bottom bunk! I took a job in a call center. It sucked.  I did ok and the offered me the chance to get my insurance license.  I did - and got a $3 raise. 5 years later I left the call center and went to work for an Allstate agent as her office manager.  3 years after that I bought my own agency. Now...  I am remarried to a good man (not perfect...LOL) and have a life I enjoy.  I thought I had nothing when I didnt have the knuckle drager anymore... but without him and his income I found my own self respect.
