I like to keep my hair near shoulder length.... just long enough to pull back if I want to .... but I wear it down most of the time. If it involves more than a blow dryer and a round bru**** aint happening!
I get my eyebrows waxed faithfully, and I have them and my eyelashes dyed. I wouldnt wear any other makeup at all but the girl who does my brows finally talked me into using a mineral powder to even my ageing skin tone and provide some spf...
I am a seriously low maintenance girl...LOL

I like it shoulder length or longer. I really hate it when my wife puts her hair up. Some girls look good that way... I suppose it really depends on the face. You have to have a face for short hair..know what I mean? My wife doesn't have that face. She has really thick hair and when it's down it's ohh so beautiful. In my opinion it does make her look thinner however she's not exactly fat at 169 lbs but you can't convince her of that. My wife wears it up for convenience. She doesn't wear makeup unless we're going out. I love makeup and I wish she'd wear it more but I can understand not wanting to get all dolled up to go to the grocery store or Walmart so I don't say anything. Wouldn't help anything if I did.. She'd say, "Pfft.. does it look like I care what you think..? It's my face and my hair and I'll wear however I please!! love you!! " OK that was kinda rambled. In summary, the hair type depends on the person. Some big girls look great with short hair, others look hideous. Longer hair does make some appear more thin than they are and for others it doesn't do anything for them. I love long hair and I don't think it's ever a bad thing, contrary to short hair which is often unattractive to me. Just my opinion... other men may think differently. Hair type/consistency has a lot to do with it to. If you have dry frizzy/curly hair then naturally...that'd look better short. But if your hair is silky and straight long hair works great for you. HELL I DON'T KNOW!! LOL To answer the real question at hand, "Would cutting your hair make you focus on the rest of you? I don't think it really matters. I think you already dislike what you see in the rest of your body. You know it's there. I don't think the hair is holding you back. Cutting it off may think of yourself as completely disgusting. If that motivates you then go ahead and cut it off. For me, I'm motivated by positive changes in my body. When I see pant sizes drop, I'm high motivated. If I look in the mirror and see myself looking fat then I just want to go eat and give up.
