Ok Ok....  you guys are so patient... I'm so appreciative.. Ok... I got THREE meals in yesterday AND a snack AND worked out.. and even when I woke up in the middle of the night hungry.....  I hit 45 calories worth of that turkey.. and it put me back to sleep...  so I even got a good sleep!   Ok.. yesterday I did the protein shakes for meal one and two.  I added strawberries to 'em and used splenda to sweeten 'em up a bit and they were ok. Usually I'm scared of bananas.. but today I put 1/2 of an average banana along with the strawberries in my morning shake.....  I added 1 tablespoon of Flax Seed Oil (like I used to do when I was building), but when I took the bottle in hand to add it to the custom food area of fitday, I realized just how many more calories I was adding... so maybe I'm going to do that for just one shake a day.  It's 130 calories for 1 tablespoon and of course it's a lot of fat .... but good fat.  I didn't use the splenda and it was so good!  I did the same for the lunch time shake minus the flax seed oil. Yesterday I did the shakes at breakfast and lunch and for dinner I ate 4 oz of turkey w/tomato and a whole cup of mixed veggies..and I was a tad full...  but I took a really long time eating it to get it all in. I did 42 minutes on the bike at levels 9 & 10 for 5.85 miles, and I start Curves in a couple of days.   Of course I'd LOVE to lose weight, but as so many of you have reminded me...it feels good just to feel GOOD again.. well.. better than I have in several years.   As my glucose levels are coming down, I notice my emotions are evening out too.. thank GOD! I think this "structure" is going to work.   Be Blessed everyone! Lori

YES!! Balance is so great...when one works at creating a day full of veggies and fruits and good fats and good quality proteins...there is not much time to eat the crap. good for you.

It's great to hear that you are eating well.  Quality fuel for the body is so important.  Hope everything keeps improving!

My pet theory is that your body is currently healing damage done by out of control blood sugar. Until you have a long enough time with stable levels, your body doesn't want to think about weight loss.
