I'm continuing to do a 40 minute walk in the morning, 40 minute walk in the evening, and 20-30 minutes on the cycle when I get home from work.  I've started taking my iPod with me on walks and I really enjoy listening to some podcasts I've found, especially one called "This American Life."

This morning I did Turbo Jam -- Cardio Party 1 for 45 min, then worked with my hand weights for about 10 min to work on skin hang. Tonight I am doing my 30 min workout at Curves with a one-mile walk from home in each direction.

I did 7 minutes on the recumbent bike before work, 15 minutes walking at lunch in the heat and another 15 minutes on recumbent that evening in my basement.  Not as good as some of you, but better than nothing. Brenda

I started out in January this year doing just 10 minutes in the mornings and evenings on the recumbent cycle.  It wasn't until March that I started walking regularly and even then it was just 100 yards at a time.  You saw what I did yesterday.  It starts slow.  Give yourself the time to build up and take comfort in the fact you're doing something!  You are doing exactly what you need to do.

I went for my daily swim (treading) for 30 min. Tonight is my weekly Line Dancing class.  That's always a blast! I should sleep well tonight.

32 minutes and 400 calories on the Elliptical..... everyday this week thus far!

So far I've done about 8350 steps today and 25 minutes of cardio, a Turbo Jam DVD.  It was really the 20 minute video, but it took me 40 minutes to actually get through it b/c the puppies wouldn't stop chasing me around.  I made the mistake of thinking I was up to doing the 40 minute workout on Monday even though I hadn't done it in about 3 months.  Yesterday I paid the price.  Today I wasn't as sore I did my best.  Got 11600 steps in Monday, 7500 in Tuesday and 8500 today (by the time I go to bed).  Shootin' for 10000 tomorrow.
