Another day in paradise...
ooh.... my legs are feelin' mighty heavy, kids... and the back is screamin'! I know this is par to course but if I didn't jot down why it is that I avoid moving, then I couldn't face it head on. I got off 4.86 miles on the bike yesterday while playing that WII tennis and bowling again with 2 lb wrist weights on. I'm logging every little morsel on fit day and even if I just dipped something in mayo (I sometimes do that with turkey) I log it as a teaspoon. The highest calorie count I hit was like just over 1200. <-- I don't think that's terribly high for a 300lb woman who is making an all out attempt at exercising.. do you? To be quite honest, I'm not hungry and I feel like I'm continually eating something. I surely have to get to the store today somehow cause I'm out of mixed veggies and I have to pick up another turkey breast. SEE .. I'M GROWING FEATHERS! I'm afraid of the fluid gain, but I took a whole vicodin anyway about 10 minutes ago. I'm waiting for it to kick in so I can get on that bike and get it done. It felt incredibly good to hit 45 minutes at about 65 rpm and up on a higher level. I weighed first thing this morning at 298.6. Not a great loss, and I've certainly worked my butt off for it... but it's going in the right direction DOWN. The exercise mat I ordered is here... so I'm gonna get on the floor and stretch and hopefully I'll be able to get myself back up! OH.. I spoke too soon, My cats seem to like it.. I'll be fighting for mat time with psycho kitty and his wife. I'm not discouraged.. I'm not discouraged.. I'm not discouraged.... I'm just hurtin' but still trying to see that light at the end of the tunnel... 298.6 is better than 302...let's hope it's finally kicking in. Thank you for enduring the rant.. Lori

For me staying under what the daily plate suggests has done me well. They would like to see me eat 1900 to lose 3 a week... I try to stay between 1400 and 1500. My goal is to always eat as much as possible and still see great losses...
I dont really know how the insulin thing works, or what adjustments you might need to make. Does less carbs help with that??? maybe it isnt how many calories but what kind??? I have no idea.... but I know if you track regularly some of the nutrionists around here are happy to take a look for you.
