This was actually why I introduced myself...was to get to know people. I just think this whole thing has been WAY blown out of proportion. I said I was looking for people to help motivate me...which what I meant was, "I'm looking for people who are in a similar situation to share things with..." but what you heard was, "I am not motivated, and need you to do that for me",... I'm not stupid. Honestly I felt like your post back was belittling. Like I had no idea that motivation came from within...or that I would have to work to accomplish something. That's not me. And if you had just welcomed me to the board, you would have known that.

It wasn't intended as belittling: I just don't waste time on lesser nonsense when I can sum it up in a sentence. One thing every single person here can tell you is that readiness is something you have to come to on your own, and I didn't want you to waste time seeking other people's "blessing" to start what is-- and needs to be-- an individual journey. When it's your time, you will know. Sounds trite, but it's true. So I started at "Motivation comes from within." It's factual, but not warm and fuzzy. Because every time I ever looked outside myself for a push, I fell on my own ass and wanted to spare you the waste of your time and energy. And because, simply put, looking to me today for assistance would be like panhandling from the homeless. I didn't hear an introduction, nor see a person. I heard "I need." And at the moment, just about everyone here is up to their eyeballs in their own journeys, their own needs, and doesn't have a lot in that department to spare.

Drama, Drama, Drama. See I love reading the drama that goes on....and I like hearing about other peoples drama....but I never jump into it...because personally I like to live drama free. :) So I was very interested in reading all of these post. Kinda made me laugh.... and entertained me for a good 15 minutes while I read everything and thought to myself well geez see what happens when you skip the board for a day!

I know you are not at your best Shari. As you say, we are all shooting from a differnet spot. We all need to think about that. This deactivated person has more issues than any of us can rope in. Maybe you were hard on her, maybe not. I found your post smartalecky, but pretty benign fachissakes. BFD, you're a smartass. Like THAT's a bad thing

I suspect it wasn't just me, but LIFE that was "hard on her." In the missing posts, she threatened suicide, blamed a bulimic binge and purge on this board, what have you. A sad and unstable person, who I sincerely hope seeks real-time assistance.
