Ok ok.. sticking close and not freaking! PROGRESS! (Long).. sorry)
WOW! feel free to come clean my house! first off, isnt it amazing to realize just how crappy you've been feeling? That hit me in my first week too. I didnt know I was so.... lethargic. second, good for you - making those kids use the microwave all by themselves! In a month or two they may even be able to *gasp* look in the fridge by themselves! LOL Going to the store yourself is a good thing too. I have found shopping takes longer these days with all my label reading... but now YOU are in control of what comes into the house!
I am glad you are using fitday to journal your food. That will help you so much in the long run.
Well Done

Thank you .. thank you.. i'd courtsey, but my knees just won't cooperate.. LOL
I don't do too much with labels.. I just don't know how long my legs are gonna hold out, so I stick to the ends of the supermarket. I go through produce, then fish and meat, and around to dairy.. I hit the center for the rice, tuna and whatever I need to complete meals. Then OUT the door I go. I had a quick stop at the pharmacy. That poor girl winced when she asked if I had insurance and I said "no.. self pay". LOL Poor thing. Changing pharmacies was good... I used Walgreens in Florida, and didn't want to switch when I moved to SC because I could do so much online.... but the nearest one is 50 miles away. Although CVS seems to be a tad more expensive, I cut back by switching from insulin pens to vials, making sure everything is generic and of course.. I'm not spending a bankroll in gas. It's better to stay in town rather than having to drive to Augusta! It's gonna get even better once I can knock down that insulin to a dull roar. Right now it takes 2 vials of Lantus and 2 of Novolog a month. I stopped the third insulin to save $.
Ok.. so I'm being such a good girl today that I deserve a luscious foot bath after I wash their dishes and stash the turkey in the fridge.
