I did it! I got myself all psyched (sp?) about starting my plan tomorrow- I have *never* done something like this- JUST FOR ME!  I joined WW and am starting the flex plan in the a.m. I have planned my meals for tomorrow and I think it's going to go very well!  After I joined I realized that my start date is 8-20. I'm not real superstitious but  8-20 has very very special meaning to me! I take this as my angel watching out for me! I feel a strength I haven't felt in years! I know I'm going to do well and I know I have chosen a *good* route for my health. And best of all!  Since I am starting in the a.m., I got on the scale today for the first time in over 2 years. I prayed!  I literally prayed as I stepped ever so gently on that darned thing! It said 217.  My highest weight ever was 235... I thought I was at 235 again! So I am starting this new life 17 pounds under what I thought I was!  It felt like I lost 17 pounds in that step up to the scale LOL. So my first goal is... to loose 22 pounds. This is the first goal I have set for ME....

Good luck! I love that you have a plan all set forth for your first day.  When you plan carefully there is less chance of screwing up by saying you didn't have the right food. Sounds like an amazing start! Good luck on the first 22 pounds!

I loved WW.  Still do, will do it again.  WW actually taught me to eat more regularly and not be fearful of eating regularly. I am excited for you.

That's wonderful! I wish you luck on ditching that 22! I myself am pushing hard to ditch 33 to get under 200 again.  We can do it!

Hey Everyone, My 20 year old son, my 22 year old daughter and me are starting WW's tomorrow.  I am really excited.   I was thinking last night.  2 times in my life that I have lost a significant amount of weight.  52 lbs. in 2004 on WW and in the 90's on phen-fen.  Phen-fen is out of the question so WW it is.  I quit in 2004 because I read Suzanne Sommer's book.  It was about eating all the fat and meat you wanted.  I ended up with a blocked colon.  To this day I no longer eat red meat.  One steak put me in severe pain and unable to go to the bathroom for days.  My new motto is;  don't read any books while on WW this time around.  Diet books that is.
