Hello ladies and gents. What are your plans for this weekend? What will you do to stay on track with diet and/or exercise? Pledge it here and stay accountable. It looks like we get a break from summer here in NY this weekend. It's supposed to be in the mid-70's both days...so unless the humidity is through the roof (crossing my fingers), that should be good. My goal is to make it to the gym on one of two days this weekend. If the weather is great, I want to walk outside a little on the other day but otherwise take it easy. My eating will continue as usual since I don't have any fun plans or a reason to drink anyway! I have had my fair share of struggles in the past month, but today I feel GOOD and I'm trying to stay positive Oh, and one more thing...I also want to try a new recipe of some sort this weekend. I have these little disposable casserole dishes that I picked up at Stop & Shop the other weekend (sometimes I drive out of the city to go to huge grocery stores because we don't have them here and I find wandering them s.o.o.o.o. relaxing) and haven't used yet. So either I will make a casserole if I can find a good, healthy recipe...or I will bake No Pudge brownies and have one topped with a little champagne sorbet on the day I work out!

My weekend is the same as ever.  Tomorrow (saturday) I will come to work from 10 - 2 and I will be dilligent about my eating and keep it the same as a weekday. Sunday is harder.  I make my son and husband a big breakfast.  I will make sure that hubby has ham instead of bacon (again) because I LOVE bacon...  LOL  If he insists on bacon I will ask how many slices he wants and buy EXACTLY that many from the butcher.  He can even count them to hold me accountable.  I will probably do somehting similar to last weekend  -  fruit, 1/2 english muffin and a poached egg for myself.  A nice departure from my usual FF yoplait yogurt. Sunday afternoon is laundry and back to my pre portioned, pre planned meals every 2 hours.
What I've eaten is here for the world to see
336.1 (8-1-07)/319.0 (12-28-07)/200 (goal for 12-31-08)/160 (goal)
Next mini goal is 290 by 1-31-08

this breakfast thing..my dh loes for us to cook up a big deal too.  bacon & eggs?  you kiddin me?  i could eat him under the table if i let myself go!  I just can't afford it anymore.  I usually have an egg white omelet or one egg and two pieces bacon and one toast. then run..i'd love to eat more than that!

Tomorrow I will start the day with a Curves workout.  I walk to and from the gym.  I've got most of my meals mapped out, and I plan to get all my water in early. Sunday I weigh in.  The last two weeks I have gained (for no obvious reason) and I am not sure I can stomach another gain, especially since I worked out an extra day the week before my last WI and gained even more the second week.  Everyone keep your fingers crossed!

Hi Sonora! Thanks for asking so i can gather my thoughts and get a plan here. I need to rest and take it easy...helluva week this past one was.  I need to do some housework, weeding, but I plan to keep it light. Will be canning tomatoes this morning out of the garden! I'd love to do yoga...get off this puter and do it.Later this morning, I can take some mary kay product to my ex-MIL who lives about 6 miles away on my bike...a nice 12 mile round trip. Sunday, if i can talk dh into going swiming at the lake, great! Food? hmmmm, nothing special going on, so no reason to over eat. we have tons of zuccini and tomatoes that need somethng done with them, i see rataoulle (sic) in my near future!

I made a plan!   To keep me on track.. I've made a goal.  An old hs friend and I are going to meet in NJ in October or November and hit the boards down the shore in Seaside.. not that anything will be open but I just want to be able to walk from the Chatterbox to the Pirate ship... .. then at night I wanna look out over the dark beach to see nothing but the white foam in the surf......... and breathe in the sea air.  But it would be cool if the monkey water races were open..............   lol   <--- is 44 going on 14.  If only I could take off just 30 lbs by then I might be able to do it.  Hence.... powdered eggs for lunch.  mmmm yummy tonights fav is gonna be sugar free Italian ice. Good luck and God Bless everyone!

Thanks for checking in guys. It sounds like everyone had good plans in place. It is gonna be cold on the Jersey shore this fall! But that's actually my favorite time to go to the beach. I'm not even sure that will change when I feel comfortable in a bathing suit...I like seeing it empty, and I hate weather above 75 degrees anyway! I really like the beach at Cape May...Point Pleasant, too. I've never been to Seaside.
