Alli week 6 check in

I am down 1 pound for this week, and that would put me at 273. I am only 3 pounds away from the next number, and I am going to bust my ass to get there by my next weigh in. Feeling good about the loss, wi**** was more, but feeling good none the less I have been having the oil in the toilet side effect, but I think it's because I am using coconut oil to cook everything, so I am not too worried about it. It only comes out when I go to the bathroom, so it's not bothering me. I am going back to my awesome new Doctor on Wednesday, and I we will discuss a new eating plan, that may entail a veggie juice type thing to cleanse. I think I may have to stop taking Alli next week, cause I want to give her natural approach a fair try, and it will be an interesting experiment to see what happens. It has been over 100 degrees all week in St. Louis, and I have not done a stitch of exercise. I have everything I need in the basement, I am just not motivated to exercise. Once again, I will work on it this week, and do my very best to break through the 3 pounds to get me under 270.

Congratulations on the 1 lb. loss .  Your right it has been very hot here.  I did manage to walk in the park yesterday at lunch for fifteen minutes.  There was some cloud cover and a little bit of a breeeze so it wasn't too bad.  This week is supposed to be a little cooler.   Let us know your opinion of the cleanse.  I would'nt worry about the Alli side effects.  At least your weight is going in the right direction.  I try to set a specific time where I force myself to exercise at least a little and it seems to help.  I've never been an exercise fan either.  I realize that  if I don't start making it a part of my life I'm not going to be able to keep my weight down since I don't get any at work.  Brenda

Awesome job!!  Man you passed up my first goal of 275!  Go you!  I'm actually thinking about using Alli myself. I eat a lot of fat and I want to get it under control. I imagine Alli can help me with that. Since all of you have been my guinea pigs, I'm not feeling so uneasy about the side affects.  Thanks for stickin' your butt out there for me! lmao   It's been 100+ all week here too.  This morning though, it was 86 with a cool breeze.  Sooo nice!

What does coconut oil taste like?

Virgin coconut oil, doesn't taste like anything after you cook with it.. It's just like cooking with margarine. It seems like the food would be infused with a coconut flavor, but it isn't.

Congrats on the loss.  You are so close to the weight goal you set for yourself.  You can get there, just keep working at your plan.   Ahhh, the exercise thing is a hard one.  In Michigan it's in the 80's, but it's been humid in my area...YUCK!!!  I've found that using my Leslie Sansone Walking Away the Pounds DVD works for me.  I just started back exercising after my leg healed, so I'm back to just the 1 mile.  As for if I'm motivated????  Nope, but as some say here, I just do it.   I look forward to hearing about the next steps you will be taking with your new eating plan.

Congratulations on your loss.  One pound is great.  It's solid weight off of you.  That's awesome.

You guys are making me wonder if I should give the Alli plan a chance.  Hmmm...

Alli says you have to stay under 15g of fat to not have side effects..... If fat intake is significantly lower can it lead to "fat deficit"??? I currently eat about 8g per meal (every 2 hours) so how would that work???  Would it work?  would it just be a waste???   I am steadily losing so I am ok at this point, but it might get more interesting if I find a plateau....

If you eat less than 15 grams of fat per meal, you may as well not take Alli. It works for up to an hour, so it wouldn't boost you if you were eating every two hours. If you took it, it would be like flushing the pill down the toilet.
