Something has got to give.....
I'm not a breakfast eater either, but I've been taking a SB breakfast bar and eating it around 10:00 AM so I'm not too hungry at lunch. I make sure I have SF jello on hand too, just in case it's a day I'm hungry. I make sure I eat lunch. Depending on how hungry I am , if I'm having two items I may spread them out and that seems to help that I don't overeat at supper. Seems like if I allow myself to get too hungry , then I have a much higher chance of cheating. This seems to be helping me. Hope this helps. Brenda
You are starving yourself.... That's why you can't succeed. You go all night with no food and then you don't eat till lunch and when you eat you eat a friggin' lean cuisine??? Bleh! Girl, eat your damned breakfast! Even if it's just a granola bar or something eat it. Then at lunch when you eat your panini it'll fill you up longer. You really need to pack yourself a snack too in case you do get hungry so you don't binge when you get home. Ever stop to think that the binge is triggered because your body really is hungry and that's your brain's mechanism for self survival? You wanna know why you can't get your lazy ass up to walk?? (like i should be talking..) it's because you TRULY don't have the energy to do so. Your body is hibernating from you starving it so much throughout the day. A lot of people swear by breakfast and say it helps you to lose weight. I couldn't give a **** less about that.. Breakfast makes me feel good throughout the day. I don't get as sleepy, I actually WANT to get up and do something. I think more clearly and I'm more decisive. My problem is getting away from the TV and computer to do something productive.. My want-to is back. This is becoming so much more than weight-loss for me now. You and I are so much alike it's crazy. I'll tell you something new I've been doing that's helped me lately. I've started focusing on the quality of my food. I'm avoiding simple carbs and sugar for my main meals. I go for the more complex things like whole grains, fresh fruit, real cheese, etc. You know what that has done for me? It's weird, I actually feel full and I am eating much less. Had a few hiccups this weekend with chicken wings and alcohol. Last night I had a club sub on whole wheat (the real wheat) and some apples for dinner.. Good dinner..but i screwed that up with drinking just shy of a pint of jaiger.. But still, the point is, I wasn't hungry at all yesterday and since I've been getting on this fresh food/healthy selections I've been doing so much better. Just a thought.. might be worth replacing your panini's. I doubt very seriously the ingredients are quality in those things.... Besides, when was the last time you saw a skinny or fit person eating lean cuisines?? Might be something to that... In summary, reading in between my rants: 1. Eat some kind of breakfast even if you're not hungry. 2. Don't forget to pack you a snack or two for emergencies. 3. Start thinking about healthier choices like whole grains and fresh foods.
