I know I repeat myself over and over but hey I have to rant and vent whenever I feel the need. So yesterday I was supposed to be getting back on track....pfft. I was supposed to eat well and go for a walk.  The day started out ok, coffee for breakfast because I am not a breakfast person at all...then lunch was a lean cuisine Panini. Then here was my problem I was STARVING by 3pm ofcourse I didn't pack a snack so I got home at about 5:15pm......I binged holy binge! Like no other. And did I walk...nope...instead I stayed home and played with my new kitten and watched some tv. It's like in my mind I know EXACTLY what I want to do...but I never freaking do it!  I would love to be able to get up in the morning and walk like for 15 minutes that's it just a short little walk to start my day...then in the evening go to the gym for a good 45minutes to an hour and do the elliptical, bike, and tredmill....or just opt for a walk if I don't go to the gym. And damnit eat right, What is my problem? Why can't I get my lazy ass up and do things? I want to so bad....Today I am trying again....so far...Coffee for breakfast, Lunch was a French Bread Lean cuisine Pizza and a super small yogurt from yoplait not the original ones I usually have it was I don't know how many ounces? But small. And some water. Tonight for dinner I am not sure what I am going to have...maybe and omelette? With some wheat toast. Hmm...then I want to go for a walk and damnit I am going to! *sigh* Thanks for listening!

I'm not a breakfast eater either, but I've been taking a SB breakfast bar and eating it around 10:00 AM so I'm not too hungry at lunch.  I make sure I have SF jello on hand too, just in case it's a day I'm hungry.  I make sure I eat lunch.  Depending on how hungry I am , if I'm having two items I may spread them out and that seems to help that I don't overeat at supper. Seems like if I allow myself to get too hungry , then I have a much higher chance of cheating.  This seems to be helping me.  Hope this helps. Brenda

I have the same problem.  It's always the hardest to take the first step.  Don't beat yourself up about it.  You'll do it.

Christa, When I don't feel like exercising, I say these 3 little words: "Just Do It!" It really helps me get off my ass!  Try it! Bren

You are starving yourself.... That's why you can't succeed.  You go all night with no food and then you don't eat till lunch and when you eat you eat a friggin' lean cuisine??? Bleh!  Girl, eat your damned breakfast!  Even if it's just a granola bar or something eat it. Then at lunch when you eat your panini it'll fill you up longer.  You really need to pack yourself a snack too in case you do get hungry so you don't binge when you get home.  Ever stop to think that the binge is triggered because your body really is hungry and that's your brain's mechanism for self survival? You wanna know why you can't get your lazy ass up to walk?? (like i should be talking..) it's because you TRULY don't have the energy to do so. Your body is hibernating from you starving it so much throughout the day.  A lot of people swear by breakfast and say it helps you to lose weight. I couldn't give a **** less about that.. Breakfast makes me feel good throughout the day. I don't get as sleepy, I actually WANT to get up and do something. I think more clearly and I'm more decisive. My problem is getting away from the TV and computer to do something productive.. My want-to is back.  This is becoming so much more than weight-loss for me now. You and I are so much alike it's crazy. I'll tell you something new I've been doing that's helped me lately. I've started focusing on the quality of my food.  I'm avoiding simple carbs and sugar for my main meals. I go for the more complex things like whole grains, fresh fruit, real cheese, etc. You know what that has done for me? It's weird, I actually feel full and I am eating much less.  Had a few hiccups this weekend with chicken wings and alcohol. Last night I had a club sub on whole wheat (the real wheat) and some apples for dinner.. Good dinner..but i screwed that up with drinking just shy of a pint of jaiger.. But still, the point is, I wasn't hungry at all yesterday and since I've been getting on this fresh food/healthy selections I've been doing so much better.  Just a thought.. might be worth replacing your panini's.  I doubt very seriously the ingredients are quality in those things.... Besides, when was the last time you saw a skinny or fit person eating lean cuisines?? Might be something to that... In summary, reading in between my rants: 1. Eat some kind of breakfast even if you're not hungry. 2. Don't forget to pack you a snack or two for emergencies. 3. Start thinking about healthier choices like whole grains and fresh foods.

Breakfast....I actually was going to grab a yogurt on my out the door but I was running late today, I didn't even have time to slap on some make up! So no breakfast for me today tomorrow though I will have a yogurt or some grapes. And Chris you're right I need to go back to my basics where I was with the Medical Weight Loss Clinic...where I only ate fresh foods, I mean I don't have to go back to the extremities of what it was. But I know I felt WONDERFUL when all I ate was fresh veggies and fruit and all this other stuff. So I think tonight I will be going to the grocery store to stock up on some fresh things for the week.

As said above "EAT BREAKFAST!!" lol... seriously. I had the same problem, but I got myself some Fiber One Chocolate granola bars - 140 cal and 9 g of Fiber and I stay full until lunch. Sometimes I have 20 grapes with it just so I can get in my fruit servings. You need to eat breakfast - everything I've ever read said to do so. I am a living example. I didnt start really losing until I ate breakfast. Good luck girl!

Put your head on the monitor SO I CAN SLAP IT!  Eat breakfast slam a protein drink, or mix protein powder into cold water, then into your last cup of coffee. Eat fresh fruit or veggies with your Lean Cusine plan a snack whether you want it or not for 3-4 pm...like a string cheese or apple + pb Eat a normal supper with lots of veggies, high quality carbs! Plan a dessert if you must...maybe a sugar free fat free pudding...hell you can prolly eat the whole thing, it's  low in calories! walk even if you lie to yourself and sayit's only for ten minutes.  $100 says you will do a half hour once you get your butt out there! If you do only ten minutes, well okay.  Just make sure most days at the same time of day you go outside and do something!!! You can do this.
