I had to wait to see how things went with Colace, MoM and Dulcolax before I break out the heavy laxative artillery. People can become laxative dependent, so my doc tries to avoid it. I think I might have things figured out. It's uncomfy as hell, but MoM 3x a day seems to be...working.

Just look at your recent pics. You have come a long way all on your own!! I think the fact that you lost so much weight prior to surgery might be the reason why some have lost more than you after. I thought I was the only that didn't care for comments when I lose weight. It makes me uncomfortable. If it's my family though, I like it. My sister recently had surgery on her shoulder and her doctor told her that her recovery time should be 4-6 weeks. She is 48 years old and it has been 3 months and she still isn't completely back to the way she should be. She was so disgusted, but she is finally getting pretty close. Keep your chin up! Brenda

I've never been the touchy feely type - so no hugs from me.... but I will say that I am sorry you feel like **** and I hope that you are feeling better soon. First day of school is always tough, but remember.. they are teens, naturally self centered... they may notice at first but the attention will be back on themselves soon enough.. take care
