weekend report...howz it goin?

I am being "pretty good".  Saturday evening was my challenge so far.  all day that day i ate very well, protein drink for brekky, fresh fruit interminttantly while doing about 4 hours straight house/garden work, then a egg white omelet with fresh salsa + ww small tortilla + sb cheese slice. but n the late afternoon, supper (beef roast with lots of veggies in dutch oven) was delayed, so I ate about 2 too many of the effin Milton's crackers...45 calories EACH, btw. with cheese spread on them.  I made up for it by backing off the heiny lite beer, a little anyway. I had a sizeable serving of fresh peach crisp with low sug ice cream (one whole cup, tho :(  No wonder i went to bed at 9! Today will be great.  DH and i are off to ride bikes, go to a democratic rally, then to a family buffet, where, trust me, i am out of the mood to over eat. I may make a homegrown tomato sandwich tonight if needed. See you in chat!!!! Tonight????

Girl, I had burger king on Friday night, Saturday I did alright, but today, I had chinese food.  So not so good for me.  No exercise because my damn heel is still not healed up.  Frustrating!!!  I go for my third fill tomorrow.  Hopefully, I'll feel something this time.  We'll see.

i was not as good as i should have been Sunday.  When I got into chat, I had just polished off some more bbq beef on two 1 ounce rolls and 1/2 c nonfat cottage cheese with home made salsa, 1/2 serving fritos.  That buffet went well, i did not eat too much there...just right:  1 bbq beef sandwich, 1/4 c potaot salad, 1/2 c baked beans, 1 svg tortilla chips and 4T bean dip.  Beyond that i had oj + soy powder before the bike ride and 1 sb bar after. I just needed lots more veggies and any fruit at all would have been good! I did do a 90 minute bike ride with dh and another couple hours of house work, washing windows.

I didn't log my food this weekend.  Weekends are always so unstructured for me.  I did really good on my planned meals.  I goofed up pretty good Saturday night but I had one helluva time!!  The wife and I went out with one of her friends Saturday night.  Needless to say I had a few too many specials. I think they were rasberry kamikazes. Hell I dunno, don't even remember what they tasted like.  Evidently I was pretty loose though!  I somehow ordered 20 wings and ate about 12 of them.  Good thing, I imagine if I hadn't done that I would have been a lot worse. I hadn't eaten dinner when I went out.  Sunday morning was a little rough but not to bad considering. After a bowl of chicken soup for breakfast (which was like 1pm...lol) and 6 bottles of water I was feelng better.  Had some sushi a snack Sunday night and Pad Thai for dinner. I love that stuff.  As of this morning I'm retaining some water from my weekend's expedition. I'm weighing in at 287lbs.  Meh, not to bad I suppose.  We'll see what happens today as I get back on my schedule. Oh I forgot to add that my bill for saturday night was $86 bucks.  The specials were $4 and the wings were like $15 so add em up ladies! hehehehe WOOHOO!!

By the way, the bar ran out of the rasberry mix stuff and they started using the blue stuff they put in Blue Motorcycles..  Bad idea! That stuff will give you the WORST case of heartburn!  Stay away from it! BleH!!

ewww, was it Hypnotique?? That stuff is rugged.  Too sweet.  Yeah, $ is why it is hard to go out too much...I cannot afford more than once or twice a year or so. Nevah mind about the calories!!!!

I think it might have been blue curacao??.. I really have no clue what it was but it was blue like papa smurf!  (Oh man, I miss the smurfs, do they even air anymore?? lmao)  I rarely ever go out and do things like this anymore but it sure was a lot of fun. I think that's important just as much as eating healthy. Taking some time out and letting yourself just go crazy for a few hours.  To be fair I think my wife had 2 mai tai and her friend probably had a few beers as well.  I know I started the night off with a cosmopolitan (which i ordered for the wife but she liked my mai tai better so I drank hers.) and then switched to the specials after that. I think I had about 6 specials maybe?? Oh and I did have a jaiger bomb too.  Man I was an alchy! The raspberry kamikaze is:     Raspberry Liquer   Triple Sec   Vodka Man, so I was drinking straight booze.. no wonder I was loose! lol

Hey Neecee, I like the weekend posts. As for mine, I would rate it a B-. Not too bad. I took it easy on Sunday, eating very good...whereas yesterday, I did my cardio but didn't eat so well. Not enough to gain, but not enough to lose more than, I dunno, .0001 of a pound! Yesterday's mini-lapse rubbed off on me this morning and I ate too big of a breakfast, but I am trying my best to ignore it. Tell me to ignore it!I had a great workout this morning so I am trying to focus on that. P.S. While we're on the alki trail...anyone ever had an AMF? Those have blue curacao in them. They are 101% nasty and will MESS YOU UP.

Just got back from a 10 day long weekend (vacation) it was fun! Very unstructured. I planned on eating well but that fell by the wayside. We ate out at the spaghetti factory and that's a wasted day because no matter what my brain may say my mouth says "fettuccine alfredo please" and had junk food and no healthy food at the lake, at all different times. Well there may heve been healthy food... but I was weak. Lots of alcohol too. Then we got back from the lake house and it was my dad's birthday and we went to get burritos and had cake. Oh it was horrible. Great but horrible. We did lots of wakeboarding and swimming to make up for it... what with it being 100 degrees :)  I gained 4 lbs. Sigh.
