Putting in a custom food for fitday.com
I brought home a box of no sugar added, reduced fat moosetracks ice cream, and took down all the nutrition information. I entered in the custom food section of fitday.com, and they rejected the calorie count for a 150 calorie, 1/2 cup serving of the ice cream. They said the protein, sugar, etc. didn't match the calorie count, which they thought should be 239 calories. I had to put in their calorie count for it to be accepted, which defeated the whole purpose of my entering it in in the first place.

that is really odd. DId you put in info for ALL the nutrional stuff? I know that if you skip one it screws up....
I wish I could be of more help - but I am not sure what is going on.
What I've eaten is here for the world to see

It happens sometimes on the free version, I'm afraid. I try to re-work it using the formula they provide-- but if it totally jams the system, I wiggle the numbers until it's close enough to accept it. Not very scientfic...but I guess that's what we get for free!

I just have not run into that! The other thing you could do is always put in a 1/4c of that particular ice cream when you do consume the half cup.
Don't record sugar plus carbs...one or the other: all grams of carbs should be _ of grams x 4, protein is _ grams x 4 ; fat is _grams x 9
Also, look for moosetracks on dietfacts and drop it into fitday!
