Saturday weigh in
I bought the new scale on Friday, and weighed in on Saturday morning... I lost 1.2 pounds this week. I feel good because the number went down, and I am at 272.8 now, which is a far cry from the 285 I started at. I wonder if drinking the 100% fruit juice had anything to do with the slower loss this week.....
At any rate, I have also been successful in not using any artificial sweeteners this week, and I am slowly getting used to cooking with coconut oil. Another big change would be paying close attention to the ingredient listing of the foods I buy. I have bought all natural, organic, and foods with no hydrogenated oils.
Through my new Doctor, I learned that hydrogenated oils, are the kiss of death to your arteries, and I am avoiding that like there's no tomorrow.... Having said that... Holy crap.......hydrogenation occurs in so many foods, that you really have to pay attention.
Soo... tomorrow morning I get my labs run and I am really looking forward to getting the results back !!!

Yay! Being a label reader is a great thing...good for you.
Juice is a hard one...I learned a while ago that a piece of fruit does it for me lots better, the juice goes down too easy and though nutritious, has lots of calories.
A pound a week shows a good steady loss that is more likely to stay off. Good for you.
