Well, I move it, anyway. Ever since Monday, doing a minimum 175 calories of exercise every doggone day. Three days it was pool aerobics to music, one day I walked around my complex, and yesterday I shopped for almost 5 hours! (The way I do it, it's exercise!) I can't bounce like I like to-- and can't use full power yet, although the belly likes the pool --just hurts terribly when I get back on dry land. I'm at maybe 80%. I hope I can get it together tomorrow when the SigOt brings his young'uns over for a swimfest! I gotta do my patented handstands! The heat's unreal. What are YOU doing to get exercise?

Hey Shari! That is awesome that you are moving it so soon.  I know that it must be a tad uncomfortable, but that will pass.   I have been pretty much at a plateau.  Some of this is due to the grazing but I also realize that I hadn't quite mixed it up for my cardio in a while.  I love the elliptical because it gives me the illusion of burning a whole crapload of calories, even if I am really not.  So I decided to change my workouts.  So now I do 30 minutes on the elliptical and then I row for 5 minutes.  Then after that it's the treadmill for 10 minutes (my knees hate the treadmill), then onto the torture device otherwise known as the stairmaster. I can do about 10 minutes on that, it's a huge killer.  I found that when I switched it up I actually did closer to 60 minutes of cardio as opposed ot the 35-45 minutes that I could do on the elliptical before my feet fell asleep!!! I add 3 days a week of weight training, one on the circuit and then two days of Group Power (lifting weights to music for 60 minutes.)  I did that this morning then went shopping for 5 hours. My poor SO was so tired at the end that he almost fell asleep! Good luck with the young'un's tomorrow.

I cannot WAIT to start weight training. I'm not allowed to do any weight work at all with my core (chest/abdomen****il mid-September-- I will probably be hiring a personal trainer if I can find one I don't want to murder. I doubt you'll ever get me on a Stairmaster, though. I give in-- I will remain a StairNovice for life. As I get smaller, maybe some of the machines will freak me out less-- I dunno.
