Empire WASTED!

I love empire waisted clothes-- snug in the bust, flowing over the belly-- that'd be so flattering and comfy on my post-loss gut, you know? But the big hooters mean that the band or bustline that's supposed to be under your breast****s me right square across 'em. Also-- I'm not self-conscious about normal arm flab, but mine's off the chain, so I need sleeves. As I get smaller, they aren't as roomy. I'm starting to have to confront that thing I knew was coming-- I look worse thinner than I did fat. And it's really aggravating. What I am saying is, i am going shopping right now, but terribly afraid that the only thing I'll be able to get on is big ol' 30-32s and cut them down to fit. Which is kinda sad. Ah well. Focus on health. If only I could poop...

I'm with you, girl.  I love empire waistlines.  But my boobs are too big too, so the waist line has to be right across my boobs, or I have to pull the neckline down so far that I'm practically flashing everyone my hooters.

You'll start pooping after a few days on mushies.  That's when I started.  But FYI, it won't be pretty...

Shari, once the dust settles, are you going to do plastics?

I'm not going to have much of a choice, unless I want to spend my life kicking this crap around when I walk-- literally. But I knew that wayyyyy before I started--  I was approved for a panniculectomy and breast reduction even *before* I lost the weight-- and my hydradenitis suppurativa pretty much means the arms have to go too. It's not ever gonna be "pretty", but I *will* need some de-bulking.

i love empire waists too, but they make be look preggo!  My boobs are big, but the rest of my body is bigger.  If I ever loose weight, I'll prolly have to roll 'em up to get 'em into my bra!! LOL

I think clothes are one of the major reasons why i'm not happy with any of my weight loss yet --- I've lost 30 lbs, but still wear the same clothes. I can fit into a few of my "skinnier" clothes, but they aren't too flattering yet. Who in the hell designs clothes for "big girls" anywho? No matter how much I weigh - I always have big twins! It's so agravating!
