SCALE TALK.....

Ok, since Heather posted about it.....and the doc's scale that I got on yesterday may be "off", what IS the best scale to buy?

we all talked baout htis yesterday in our breakroom. It does not seem to matter, they all get flaky no matter how much you spend.

I just say weigh yourslef the same time of day using the same scale, and it should not matter.

Thanks Neecee,  I agree, I think the same time of day matters. I don't own a scale, and just weigh when I happen to be in a docs office.  But I was thinkin maybe I should buy one.

Neecee, i would much rather go by my old scale they say 8 lbs less then WW scales LOL!!  But since i go to them once a week , guess i will go buy WW, LOL  and your right all scales are flaky LOL!!!  Delilah

Oh Gael, I can understand the frustration.  I went to see my dr. last week and my weight on my home scale was 349 with clothes and shoes.  Normally I weigh myself au natural (so it was really 345), but that wouldn't be good to do at the dr.'s.  Anyway, her scale reads, get this, 337...WHAT!!!  In other words, I technically weigh 333 by her scale.  I decided to keep track of my weight using my scale and not the dr's.  Isn't it funny what a large difference it is????

Hi Melinda, Ya, well I figured if I buy a home scale, I won't pay much attension to the doc's scale????  I always thought my DD weighed 135, yesterday at the Neuro doc's she was 119? Geez, thats great, but do I believe it? Grrrrrr....lol...Hey we gotta PM sometime since we were/are still on the VSG forum eh?

It's a hoot, no scale seems to be the same.  I agree, we've gotta PM sometime.  I've been so busy with work, job hunting, and such I can't even get to the VSG forum as much as I'd like to.  The weekends, now those are spent well away from a computer so unless there is a concern about a friend, I don't get on to check things out until Mondays.
