Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis

My heart is aching for the city... I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota... My husband and I used to live 4 blocks from that bridge... and that was the bridge we took to get to the Metrodome for all the football games....  I have been able to get in contact with a few of my friends this morning..    I have not heard from best friend and her husband though and am worried... I do not know if they took that way to and from work as they both worked downtown.... Please help me pray that I hear from them...Thank you!

Geez!!! I seen that yesterday on the knews my heart sank...I am always afraid of that happening...seriously I have a fear of bridges i always have I mean I always drive over them but it freaks me out and that happening makes my fears even stronger!!!!!!!

I will pray that your best friend and her husband are safe!   Back in 1983 there was a bridge collapse in the town over from me.  My then fiance (turned husband) and I used to travel the bridge twice a day as he lived there and i lived on the other side.  It was tragic but thankfully there were not nearly as many deaths as there appear to be from this. My prayers are with all of those who were affected.
