On Saturday, I made a can of bean w/bacon soup--then strained it. For three days, I drank the broth. I blended the solids in the old bullet blender, and just had 1/4 cup of baby food beanish bacon solids. OMFG-- best lunch ever! First meal day in 26 days....num num num.

If I have more than 2 ounces of anything, they come and repossess my car or sumpin'. No lie, it was sooo delicious. And dinner tonight is gonna be 2 ounces of deli turkey in a blender with FF gravy. Takes about 30 minutes to eat it. All I can say is it's very very strange, but very tasty.  Food. I missed food, ayup.

I adore canned bean soup! Have you made your own lentil soup? Once you are up and at 'em again, try making a pot of that to puree.  Wonder where Bridget is...did you know she has a cook book for all the mushee stuff? She will e-mail it upon request! I have never asked her for it, but I have seen some of her lap band recipes that sound amazing.

After all that Bridget went through a couple of months ago, losing her mother and then losing her band; her FIL has now became very, very ill, I don't think I ever heard of anything else but she has been away from the board for awhile!

Glad you are now getting some food!  I read somewhere the other day about straining the chicken and noodles outta soup and drinking broth because it was better than the canned chicken broth.
