Stinkin Knee: I have surgery scheduled for next Thursday. My mother will be assisting me during the re-coop period. She is coming down here from Mississippi. I'm excited, yet after about a week...we may be sick of each other. I'm going to try not to be a gripe. Also I don't know whether i will be off my feet for 2 or 6 weeks. It depends on what he finds when he gets in there. Ugh! There is so much happening this month.. a couple of vacation days, party in Dallas that I want to go to. I plan to go home for Labor Day. I hope my knee is up to par because I am missing out!  I don't want to go through the airport on crutches and be on a plane with my knee in pain. :/ Weight: I think I gained 1lb.. Next week's weigh-in will confirm. I weighed myself Monday. Tali I will be modifying my goal for the challenge. I'll give you an update after I re-coop and start back exercising. I am sick  that I could have been down 15 pounds already... 240 Imagine that!  That would have been so wonderful. Cable: Still not on...I have an appt this weekend. When I get home I just twiddle my thumbs. I've been practicing piano alot lately since I have no other entertainment. It's ok for now, I'll live. That's it folks... I am ready for this to be over!

Hey Bud, At least you now have the surgery scheduled and it will all be over soon.  I healed very quickly when I had my miniscus (sp?) tear repaired.  I think I was walking without a crutch less than a week after surgery.  Everybody is different though, so I wish you a speedy recovery. I remember when I stayed with my mother for a month while she recovered from knee replacement surgery.  It started out really well, but by the end we were at each other's throats so I knew it was time for me to go. When you're ready let me know what your new goal weight is.  Don't worry about your 1 pound gain.  You're not the only one that's not doing well, I have been way off my game for the last week or so.  At least I'm exercising every day though, it's my only saving grace. Wow, you've been without television for quite a while.  I probably would have shot myself in the head by now.  I don't think I can function without an abundance of mindless television programs.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.  Hopefully all goes well and you will only be off your feet for 2 weeks. Thank goodness your mom is coming down to help out.  That must be a weight off knowing she'll be helping you when you need it.  For me, when I have my "cranky pants on" I warn my sister to ignore me.  Maybe you should have your mom let you know if you get in a cranky mood with her.  Sometimes we just don't realize how cranky we get with those we love the most. Don't worry about that 1lb, you'll be back to losing in no time once your knee is all healed up. Bummer about the cable.  I didn'****ch TV from midnight on Friday until 6:30ish on Sunday evening.  Now the only reason I didn't was because I was reading the last Harry Potter book, otherwise I wouldn't have missed some of my favorite shows.   Take it easy and don't overdo it and you'll be exercising and back to losing in no time.  Until then just chill.

Best of luck on the knee.

Beat up the cable man when he fixes your cable.
