My surgeon mention something about Phentermine but the meds i am it appears that i am more then likely not a person who should take this..
Before reading i am not on this meds and it was an option that was given to me but i am on alprazolam & amitriptyline as well as blood pressure meds. I am going to be talking to my dr about what my options are with a diet pill that doesn't have major major side effects.
Anyways any advise on any diet pills that you have taken after weight loss surgery please offer thanks
I took Phentermine in 2005 and had great weight loss results. I only took it for 3 months and then my dr took me off b/c she thought I was becoming addicted to it - the major drawback of the drug. It did help me break through my plateau and I dropped 25 lbs like nothing. But, like I said, the drug is addicting and as soon as you stop taking it - it's harder to lose weight and you really have to be careful about your food choices or you'll gain it back.
