Thoughts on Alli and calorie counting

Tomorrow will be week #4 on Alli, and to be honest, I had not followed it by the letter untill this week. What exactly does that mean.... That means htat I was eating my regular healthy foods, and taking Alli, but I was not counting calories because it was just such a pain to do. In those three weeks, I have lost and maintained a loss of 6 pounds. However, tomorrow morning is my next weigh in for week 4, and I am hoping that all of my hard work this week will have paid off. Even if I only loose a half pound this week, I hope to see something less than 279 when I weigh in. While I have not exercised at all during this Alli trial, I have in the last week been tracking my calories and fat intake. It is very interesting, because as the days go bye, I take in less and less calories. Day #1 I had  3025 calories Day #2 I had  2073 calories Day#3  I had  1757 calories Day #4 - Today - I won't know until before I go to bed tonight I think on day #1, I felt like I was going to be restricted with this whole counting, and I overate, and then as the days go on, I start to make connections and better choices in spending those calories. So, wish me luck tomorrow morning when I weigh in....

This is my second week on Alli and my first real week of trying harder to keep my calories at 1200 and exercising everyday! It's been a challenge. I really haven't noticed any oil leakage, but if I eat a meal that is a little higher in fat - 15 g or over, I notice I get a dull stomach-ache and feel bloated. Today, the scale finally moved 1 lb, so I'll take that over nothing!

Wishing you good luck tommorrow when you meet the scale. It is amazing how many calories we can eat in a day and not even realize it until we start writing it down and looking at the calorie, carbohydrate, and fat content.   I must say that I have been keeping a food diary since day 1 and I think it is really helps to to know if I can afford something extra or if I have really blown the day away. For right now, I like Alli,  I have been using since last friday and I wasn't going to weigh myself until tomorrow but I just had to peak today and was really impressed with a 4 lbs loss this week so far.
