aftermath
I feel like such a big dork saying this, but I was so worried about you and I'm so happy you are ok! I was sooo pissed yesterday when my power was out for almost 24 hours because I couldn't come in and check to see if you or Sig OT had posted! But, glad to see you're back and I really hope that the pain lessens soon! You're such an inspirationl!

I can surely empathize with you girl. The first two weeks I thought I had made the biggest mistake of my life but it will get better. I was sent home with a liquid pain med called roxicett(sp?). I loved this stuff. I could take it every 4-6 hours and when I would it would put me to sleep. To this day I would love to get my hands on more! I can see why people could get addicted. Right after surgery I had pouch spasms and OMG those were awful. They gave me valium for those. Everytime I would swallow ANYTHING it would hurt but after two weeks I was fine. I slept in the recliner for the first two weeks too. My first month I only lost 24 pounds but I would have never lost that much on my own. Make sure to keep hydrated more than anything. I'll be thinking about you.

Shari I am so sorry you are having a lot of pain. But I am tickled you feel well enough to stop in. Each day should get better. Keep your chin up!
whew!!!! if a friend's prayers could lift you up, mine have been coming since the day you had surgery. i was in Chicago, but stopped to say a prayer daily.
Abdominal surgery sucks. i had two c-sections and nearly died from complications both times. Severe infections in my case.
Things take time, dear Shari. hang in there. We are all pulling for you.
