#1 Shari that is really funny. LOL #2 I know that I have a sugar addiction and I DO NOT use those words lightly at all. By removing any refined sugar or simple carbs from my diet after about 48 hours I have energy returned after 4-5 days my cravings are controlled and by day 7 I loose 10 lbs. I never let my blood sugar drop so I eat every 2-2 1/2 hours whether hungry or not (even if just an ounce of low fat cheese, or veggies with a bit of dressing or cottage cheese with a bit of fruit or a slice or 2 or more of chicken or turkey. I do not limit my protein at all I do not limit my veggies or good fats. I do not overindulge in fat but I do not drive myself crazy with it either. I do limit my carbs massively to no more than 20% of my daily caloric intake. My daily goal is: 20% carb 30% fat 50% protein no more than 1300 cal's a day Drink water on a constant basis. Unfortunately, I let myself get out of control last year and gained quite a bit of weight however, I am back. From Nov 2004 to May 2005 I followed these rules perfectly and went from 279lbs to 216lbs lost 63 lbs in 7 months. I am not saying this will work for everybody BUT.... If you have a big belly it will work for you. I have done an amazing amount of research and it seems that people with alot of belly fat tend to be intolerant of sugar and have amazing physical and mental results on the above. JUST MY 2 cents hope it helps. Gina
