Tali's Journey - Day 31
As planned I picked up my Alli starter kit from Walgreens this morning. The kit (whi*****ludes 90 capsules) was about $65.00 with tax. If I decide to continue with it after the first month, I’ll get it from someplace where I can get it cheaper like Costco or buy it over the internet. I took my first capsule (which is very small by the way) before my breakfast. My breakfast consisted of 11 grams of fat and my lunch has 19 grams of fat. Because my calorie range is 1600-1800 I can have up to 19 grams of fat per meal, or an average of 54-60 grams of fat per day. Just to be on the safe side, I brought a extra pair of panties and slacks to work with me and I will keep them in my desk drawer just in case the worse happens. But, hopefully if I stay within my fat gram limits everything will be okay. The good thing about my Seattle Sutton meals is that each meal lists the nutritional information, so I don’t have to calculate my fat grams. I will be writing down my fat grams in my organizer though everyday so that if I ever have a TE, I’ll know how many grams I consumed that day. I’m in the process of reading and/or thumbing through all of the informational booklets that came with the kit. So, at least for now, I’m officially on the Alli train.
