Abstinence - Day 139
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYBODY!!!
Breakfast
3/4 cup Ruby grapefruit juice
2 bullseye eggs, with 12-grain bread
1 cup 1% milk
1 mug hazelnut coffee
2 cups water
Lunch
2 small plain pita breads with spinach, tomato slices, 7 slices turkey/ham lunch meat, 1 slice American cheese, 1 tsp. mustard
1 nectarine
2 cups water
Dinner
1 "Greekburger" with 1 slice American cheese on whole grain bun
1/2 can light fruit ****tail
1 can vegetable soup
Diet root beer
Evening Snack
2 cinnamon graham crackers

Since I belong to Overeaters Anonymous, and I am a recovering compulsive overeater, abstinence is refraining from compulsive overeating. My food plan is a 1600-calorie diabetic food plan, which allows so many carbs, proteins, dairy, vegetables, and fruits per day, depending on how many calories you want to consume. Since I want to lose weight, I am consuming around 1600 to 2300 calories a day. On good days, I am closer to 1600. On not so good days, I go abit higher. I've recently had to amend my food plan, so it has less calories on the weekend. And yes, I do choose foods that I like, rather than "cram down" foods I don't like. There are alot of healthy foods that I do like, so why not?
