I feel like posting.....

Ok so next weekend on the 14th, about 30 of us women are going up north to tube down the river in our little tubing chairs with cup holders to hold our booze lol. So that means....I'm getting into a bathing suit for the first time since I was 18 years old. 3 years...eh. I'm going to do it though because I want to have fun and be in the water. So this weekend I am gonna go out and buy a bathing suit at Lane Bryant and maybe a little tie thingy so I feel more comfortable with myself. So I am trying to put it into high gear with my weight loss since I have slacked the whole month of June and maybe lose a few before the 14th. Also, I want to lose a good amount before the first week of August. They guy that I am currently dating is coming home. He is in the military and in Chicago right now. I've always liked him since middle school, and I seen him back 3 weeks ago while he was back in town and we have always been really good friends and we talked. Then all of a sudden we started talking on the phone and he decided that we should date. I was deep down ecstatic! but I didn't show it. :) So he likes me for me. And hes a freaking military man! AHH Hello man in uniform.  So yea he is my motivation right now, hopefully this goes somewhere for once. lol. I just felt the need to post this. Makes me feel better when I post.

**Love in in the air***  Well congrats on the relationship...It is always good when a man likes you for you and not what you can do or hung up on the superficial....  Do you have a Fashion Bug near by... they have cute swim suits... and I actually got a nice suit from JC Penny.. it was $90, but I got it for $35...   I hope you have fun on the trip... tubing sounds like fun

Yes i will have to check out Fashion Bug! Good idea. I just always see cute ones in the lane bryant catalogs....which gets me to a different subject. WTH is up with these plus size catalogs with models being a size 5 in them! Guess what if i order those close I'm not gonna look as good as them in it. Geez use some real plus size models please!

I thought to same thang.. They know them clothes look completely different on a size 4 than a size 24.... I do not too much fool around with the catalog...I go straight to the store so I can see for my self... Another good store is Ashely Stewart.. they are exclusively for sizes 14 to 28...  They even have Baby Phat and Apple Bottoms... not that I would pay for those... but it was nice to see they cater to thick girls...

Yea I never order out of the catalogs either...my mom does, I just look through them when I am over there. I only go to Lane Bryant once in a while for bras and MAYBE some clothes they're so pricey! So I get the majority of my jeans at DEB never shirts there...because see I wear a 2x and at DEB their 3x's are like a large...I'm serious...I remember being in a dressing room and the girl in the next one was a regular sized girl and she tried on a shirt that was a medium...and she started whining omg this doesn't fit blah blah blah....but then I realized oh they run small on that side too. But still I didn't feel sorry for her. lol. But I have never heard of Ashley Stewart.

Hey that would be a good job for you, you are so cute and all.....Christa, my friend the plus size model...LOL!  I think that is why I've always liked Queen Latifa, she is plus sized and still soooo beautiful!

I'm not tall enough to be any model...you still ahve to be 5'7'' I believe even plus sized...eh. I'm 2 inches too short lol. But thanks. It would be fun!
